Draft. These terms must be reviewed by a solicitor before the app is released, and the details in [square brackets] completed.

1. Who these terms are with

These terms are between you and Nudgent ("we"), registered address [registered address]. By using Nudgent you agree to them.

2. Safety first

3. Guidance only

Speed limits, road types, tolls, Congestion Charge and ULEZ information, exemption advice, vehicle compliance results and zone boundaries are provided as guidance and may be incomplete, simplified or out of date. Always follow road signs and check with the operator or official source. You remain responsible for any charge, fine or penalty.

4. Emergency card

The NFC card is a convenience. It may not be read, may be misread, or may be unavailable, and emergency services are not required to use it. Keep your details and password current. You are responsible for who you share your password with.

5. Subscriptions

Nudgent Premium is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple ID (monthly or yearly; Family Premium can be shared through Apple Family Sharing). Payment is charged at purchase confirmation and renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID account settings. Prices are shown in the app. Safety features stay free.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app, attempt to extract our server keys, overload our servers, or use it in breach of the law.

7. Third-party services

The app uses services from others (such as Apple, OpenStreetMap, the DVLA and your own Nightscout site). We do not control them and are not responsible for their availability or accuracy.

8. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for charges, fines or penalties you incur, and our total liability for anything else is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. The app is provided "as is".

9. Changes and ending

We may update the app and these terms. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, though consumers living elsewhere in the UK keep their local rights.
